What if all or some portion of my order arrives broken?
Personalizedbysanta.com takes every measure available to ensure that all ornaments, Personalized Piggy Banks, and stockings are carefully and securely picked, packed, and shipped. But in the event that an item arrives damaged we will send a replacement immediately at no extra cost to our customer.

How long will it take to receive an ornament?
All orders are shipped within 2-3 business days. All orders are shipped using USPS First Class Service from U.S. zip code 14020. Visit https://www.usps.com/ for a time in transit estimate. 

How much are shipping and handling charges?
All orders over $75 will receive free shipping. Customers in New York State will also be charged 8% sales tax.

Do you have a mailing list?
We offer a few specials throughout the holiday season. Customers who choose to be included in our mailing list will receive exclusive email promotions offered only through our mailing list. All customer data is kept 100% confidential.

Do you ship international?
No

Can my order arrive gift-wrapped?
We don’t offer gift wrapping for one very important reason. You cannot inspect your purchase upon arrival if it’s gift wrapped. We offer gift bags for an extra charge, but no gift wrapping.

Is my information secure?
We do our best to provide you with a safe and convenient shopping experience. We have in place certain physical, electronic, contractual, and managerial safeguards to protect the security and privacy of your personal information.

When you enter your personal information on our websites, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect your information as it is transmitted to us. To make sure you are accessing our secure server before you submit personal financial information, look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending upon your browser), then SSL is active. To double-check for security, look at the URL or Location line of your browser. If you have accessed a secure server, the first characters of the address in that line should change from "http" to "https."

What are the ornaments made out of?
All of our ornaments beginning in “OR” and “KA” are made from a poly-resin material. Ornaments beginning with “DC” are made from clay. All ornaments are hand-painted in factories overseas.

Do they require any special storage?
No. They will store very nicely alongside the rest of your holiday decorations.

How much can be personalized on an ornament?
We can accommodate almost any request. We will email you promptly if we cannot complete the personalization as directed.

What do people usually have personalized on their ornaments?
Names, the year, Merry Christmas are by far the most popular ways to have the ornaments personalized. Baby’s First ornaments are often personalized with the baby’s birth details such as D.O.B., birth weight, birth length. Event ornaments such as wedding, anniversary, and graduation ornaments are often personalized with Congrats, Congratulations, or Way To Go! Teacher ornaments are often personalized with the teacher’s name, but we suggest it’s more important to put your child’s name on the front. Otherwise, it will be very difficult for the teacher to remember which one of her amazing students gave her that beautiful keepsake.

What if I receive my order and notice that one of the names is misspelled?
We will research the order. If you spelled it right and we made a mistake then we’ll replace the product immediately at no charge. If you misspell the name when entering your order then you will have to order a new ornament. We urge customers to check and double check all spelling before hitting the “submit” button on the order form.

What about the back of the ornament? Can this area be personalized?
No. The backs of the ornaments are not painted or treated and usually absorb the ink to a point where the writing is illegible.

Do you offer discounts on large orders?
Yes. You might be better opening a wholesale account. Call us and we’ll discuss. But keep in mind that all ornaments ordered via wholesale must be ordered by the dozen units. Be sure to take advantage of our special sales promotions on our site for discounts on large orders but less than wholesale.

Do you offer wholesale?
Yes.

Orders are shipped within 2-3 business days and only after full payment has been received.

Shipping Charges
Orders over $75 will ship for FREE. We use USPS First Class service for all ground shipments. We use UPS for all air shipments. See rate chart for details

Shipping charges will be added to your total when you place your order. You will have the opportunity to select your preferred shipping method in the final Check-Out screen. All orders are shipped from New York.

Time in Transit
Almost all shipments will be delivered within 7 days of when the order was placed with us. Tracking links will be sent to all customers who provide an email address when completing their order. Simply click on the link to track your order.

If an order is refused upon delivery, said order will be assessed a $20 return shipment processing fee.

Payment
We use Google Checkout for payment, which means we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Full payment must be made before orders are release for outbound shipping.

UPS 2-Day Air
If you choose to have your shipment delivered via UPS 2-Day Air, your shipping charge will be based on the total of your order. All orders ship from New York. You must allow up to three days from the time you place your order before it will ship out.

UPS Next-Day Air

Orders placed before 5pm Eastern Standard Time will ship the next business day and will be delivered on the following business day. For example, if you place an order at noon on Thursday, your order will be shipped out on Friday and be delivered to you on Monday. If you choose to have your shipment delivered via UPS Next-Day Air, your shipping charge will be based on the total of your order. The price breakdown is as follows:

WE SHIP YOUR ORDER WITHIN 72 BUSINESS HOURS FROM THE DATE AND TIME OF YOUR ORDER.

See table below for our lead time recommendations. Keep in mind that the time between order placement and delivery also includes up to 72 hours of order processing time in our fulfillment facility. These estimates are based on our experience working with our shipping carriers for the past ten years and what they’ve told us we should expect for this holiday season. Our best recommendation is to always give yourself more time than you think you’ll need. Personalized items are difficult and time consuming to replace if something unexpected happens at any point in the fulfillment process.
